How do I create a fad?
Go to fad.fyi and sign in with Google. Choose what your fad is for, such as a business or a course, and pick an address like fad.fyi/yourname. Then feed it something: a PDF, a web page link or some pasted text. That is it. Your fad can start answering right away, and everything saves as you go.

PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, PowerPoint and plain text or Markdown files. Each file can be up to 25 MB. A price list, a brochure, a syllabus, a menu or a fee chart all work well. After upload, the file shows a Waiting status while it is being read. Once that is done, your fad can answer from it.

Through your link, fad.fyi/yourname. Put it in your WhatsApp status, your Instagram bio, your Google Business profile or on a printed QR code. Set visibility to unlisted or public first, because a draft is seen only by you. If it is public, anyone can find it; if unlisted, only people with the link can open it.

No. Your files, your pasted text and your visitors' chats are not used to train any AI. They are used only to answer questions on your own fad. Your knowledge stays yours. It is not shared with other fads or other users of fad.fyi.

Yes. The Free plan costs โน0, and there is no payment step at all. You can make 3 fads, feed each one 10 sources, upload files up to 25 MB, and answer 500 messages per fad per day. The only trade is a small 'Start your own fad' line at the bottom of your chat page.

English, Hindi and Hinglish. Hinglish means Hindi written in English letters, like 'kitna price hai'. The fad replies in whichever of these the visitor uses. One fad handles all three in the same chat, so a customer can switch midway and still get a proper reply. In the Voice tab you choose which of the three your fad uses.

Open your fad, tap Widget and copy the code. It is one script tag. Paste it into your site's HTML just before the closing </body> tag. Save and reload your site. A floating chat button appears in the corner of every page that has the code. Visitors tap it to chat with your fad.

Tap Sign in with Google and choose your Google account. That is the whole process. There is no password to set and no OTP to wait for. The first time you sign in, your fad.fyi account is created automatically. The next time, Google usually signs you in with one tap.

3 fads per account. 10 sources per fad. 25 MB per file. 500 messages per fad per day. A small 'Start your own fad' line on your chat page. Web pages are added one page at a time. Those are the limits. Your dashboard shows how many messages your fad has handled today, so you always know where you stand.

Because the answer is not in its sources. A fad answers only from what you fed it. It does not guess. When it does not know, it says so and offers your WhatsApp or contact details. To fix it, open the Teach tab, find the question, and write the answer once. It becomes a Q&A pair and the fad will answer it next time.
