- Accepts PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, PowerPoint, TXT and Markdown files
- Each file can be up to 25 MB
- The fad reads the file and answers from what is inside
- Up to 10 sources per fad on the Free plan
- Your files are never used to train anything
How it works
In three steps.
- 1
Upload the file
Open your fad and go to Feed. Pick a file from your phone or computer. PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, PowerPoint and text files all work, up to 25 MB each.
- 2
Let the fad read it
The fad reads the whole file and keeps what it learns. This takes a few moments for a big PDF. You can keep working while it reads, since everything saves as you go.
- 3
Try a question
Open the Try tab and ask something a customer would ask. If the answer is in the file, the fad finds it. If not, it says so and offers your contact details.
Why it matters
What changes for you
- Use real text PDFs, not photos of pages. Scanned images have no text to read.
- Give files clear names like price-list-2026.xlsx so you know which one to replace later.
- Already have the file on WhatsApp? Save it to your phone first, then upload from there.
Questions people ask
Which file types can I upload?
PDF, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), CSV, PowerPoint (.pptx), plain text (.txt) and Markdown (.md). Each file can be up to 25 MB. If your file is in another format, open it on your computer and save it as PDF or Word first, then upload that.
Will my file be shown to visitors?
No. Visitors never see or download your file. They only see the answers your fad writes from it. Your files and your visitors' messages are not used to train anything either. They stay yours.
How many files can I add?
The Free plan gives you 10 sources per fad. A source is one file, one web page or one pasted note. You can replace a source any time, so 10 is plenty for most shops. Pro, coming soon, will allow more.
What if the answer is not in any file?
Your fad does not guess. It tells the visitor it does not have that information and offers your WhatsApp or contact details instead. The unanswered question also appears in your Teach tab, so you can write the answer once and it is learned for next time.
