Questions people ask before they start
What exactly is a fad?
A fad is your own AI chatbot. You feed it your files, links, notes, questions and answers, and your product list. People then chat with it at fad.fyi/yourname, on a QR code, or on your website. It answers only from what you gave it.
Does it make things up?
No. A fad answers from your content. When it does not know, it says so and can offer your WhatsApp or contact details instead of guessing. You can teach it any question it could not answer from your dashboard.
Can it talk in Hindi or Hinglish?
Yes. Turn on Hindi or Hinglish and your fad replies in the language the visitor uses. It understands everyday questions like “kitne ka hai” or “kab khulte ho”.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your files and your visitors’ messages stay with your fad. They are not used to train anything. You can delete a fad, with all its knowledge and chats, at any time.
Can I put it on my website?
Yes. One line of code adds a floating chat button to any website: WordPress, Shopify, Google Sites or plain HTML. It opens your fad in a small panel in your colour.
Is it really free?
Yes. The free plan gives you up to 3 fads with 10 sources each, your fad.fyi/you link, a QR code and the website widget. A Pro plan with more room is coming soon.
Can I keep it private?
Yes. A private fad can only be opened by the Google accounts you allow. Unlisted means anyone with the link. Public means anyone can find it. You can change this with one tap.
