- Understands English, Hindi and Hinglish questions
- Replies in the language the visitor typed in
- Common Hinglish words like kitna, kab, kahan are understood
- Feed it once in English, serve customers in three languages
- Each chat shows its language in Chat history
How it works
In three steps.
- 1
Nothing to prepare
You do not need to prepare anything special. Feed your fad files and notes in simple English as usual. The language work happens on the visitor's side, at chat time.
- 2
The visitor types naturally
A customer writes kal open ho kya, or Is it open tomorrow. The fad reads the meaning behind both and looks for the answer in your sources the same way.
- 3
The reply matches the question
If the question came in Hinglish, the reply is in Hinglish. Hindi gets Hindi, English gets English. Check Chat history later to see which languages your customers actually use.
Why it matters
What changes for you
- Write your welcome message in Hinglish if most customers use it. It sets the tone.
- Add one suggested question in Hinglish, like Timing kya hai, so visitors know they can.
- Q&A pair answers are repeated as written, so write those in your customers' main language.
Questions people ask
Which languages are supported?
English, Hindi and Hinglish, which is Hindi written in English letters, like kitna hai. The fad understands all three and replies in the one the visitor used. Other Indian languages are not supported today.
Do I need to feed my fad in Hindi too?
No. Feed it once in simple English and it can still reply in Hindi or Hinglish. Writing in English also keeps your files and notes easy to update. The only exception is Q&A pairs, which are repeated exactly as you wrote them.
Will it understand spelling mistakes and short forms?
Common Hinglish spellings and short forms are understood, like kitna, kitne, kab and kaha. Very unusual spellings may be missed. When the fad does not understand, it says so and offers your WhatsApp instead of guessing.
Can I see which language a visitor used?
Yes. Chat history lists every conversation with its time, language, number of messages and whether it ended in a WhatsApp handoff. After a few weeks you will know whether your customers prefer Hindi, Hinglish or English, and you can shape your welcome message to match.
