Your workshop answers "servicing kitne ka hai" while you work

A mechanic's hands are busy and oily all day. The phone keeps ringing with the same questions about general service cost, oil change price and pickup. A fad is your workshop's own AI chatbot at fad.fyi/yourname. Feed it your rate card and timings once. Customers get clear answers on their phone, and when they want to book, the chat opens your WhatsApp with their request ready.

Today
  • You stop work under a car to answer "Activa service kitne ka hai" for the tenth time.
  • Customers do not know what a general service includes, so they feel overcharged later.
  • Pickup and drop requests come as missed calls that nobody returns on a busy Saturday.
What to feed your fad
  • Rate card by vehicle: general service, oil change, brake pads, clutch work, wheel alignment
  • What each service package includes, as a simple list
  • Pickup and drop charges and the areas you cover
  • Workshop timings, weekly off and how long a general service takes
  • Which brands and models you handle, and which you do not
  • Genuine spare part prices you are happy to share

How it works

Set it up once. It answers every day.

  1. 1

    Type your rate card once

Sign in with Google and claim fad.fyi/yourworkshop. Paste your rate card as text or upload the Excel sheet you already keep. Add question-and-answer pairs for pickup charges and timings. Done in a few minutes.

  2. 2

Stick the QR near the counter

Print the QR code and paste it at the billing counter, on the gate and on your job cards. A customer waiting for a wash scans it and reads what the next service will cost.

  3. 3

    Take bookings on WhatsApp

When someone wants a slot or a pickup, the fad shows your WhatsApp button with their message prefilled. You reply with a time between jobs, and nothing is lost in a missed call.

Why it matters

What changes for you

Hands stay on the jobThe fad handles price and timing questions so you are not wiping grease off your hands to pick up the phone. Fewer breaks mean more vehicles done each day.
No surprise at the billCustomers read what a service includes before they hand over the keys. When the bill matches what the fad told them, trust goes up and arguments at the counter go down.
Every pickup request reaches youPickup and slot requests arrive as WhatsApp messages with the vehicle and area already written. You can answer them in order during a tea break instead of chasing missed calls.
Works in Hindi and HinglishMost customers type the way they talk, like "clutch plate badalne ka kitna lagega". The fad understands and replies in the same style, using the prices you gave it.

Questions people ask

Spare part prices change often. Will the fad give old prices?

It gives whatever is in your sources, so keep them fresh. Upload the new Excel sheet and delete the old one whenever rates change. For parts that move a lot, write "price on request" in the sheet so the fad asks the customer to confirm on WhatsApp.

Can it tell a customer when their car will be ready?

No. The fad does not see your job board, so it cannot track a particular vehicle. It can explain how long each service normally takes and point the customer to WhatsApp for a live update. That alone removes most "ho gaya kya" calls.

I run a two-wheeler shop only. Is this too much for me?

Not at all. One fad with a short rate card and your timings is enough, and the free plan covers it. Many of your customers already use WhatsApp, so the handover feels natural to them. Setup takes about five minutes on your phone.

Will it quote a price for a repair I never listed?

No, and that is the point. If the repair is not in your sources, the fad says it does not have that price and offers your WhatsApp. You can then quote after seeing the vehicle. The Teach tab shows these questions so you can add answers you are comfortable with.

Do I need a website to use this?

No. Your fad lives at fad.fyi/yourworkshop and opens in any phone browser. Share the link on WhatsApp status, print the QR code for the counter, or add it to your Google Business listing. If you do get a website later, the one-line widget adds the chat there too.
