- Leads ask for rates on Instagram, WhatsApp and email, and you type the same reply everywhere.
- Half the enquiries have a budget far below your minimum, but you only find out after a long chat.
- When you are heads-down on a project, new enquiries wait for days and go cold.
- Your services with starting prices, for example logo design from โน8,000
- How you work: brief, advance, revisions included, delivery time
- Your portfolio links and two or three short case notes
- Which tools and file formats you deliver in
- Who you are a good fit for, and what you do not take up
How it works
Set it up once. It answers every day.
- 1
Describe your work in plain words
Sign in with Google and take fad.fyi/yourname. Paste your services and rates as text, add your portfolio page link, and write question-and-answer pairs for the questions you answer every week.
- 2
Replace "DM for rates" with a link
Put the fad link in your Instagram bio, your Behance or LinkedIn profile and your email signature. Anyone curious gets a full answer at once, without waiting for you to come online.
- 3
Talk only to serious clients
Once a lead knows your starting price and process, the fad offers a WhatsApp button. Their brief arrives prefilled, so your first reply can be a quote instead of twenty questions.
Why it matters
What changes for you
Questions people ask
I do not have fixed prices. Every project is different. Does this still help?
Yes. Give the fad your starting prices and the things that change the cost, like number of pages or revisions. It will explain these clearly and then offer WhatsApp for an exact quote. Clients appreciate knowing the range before they reach out.
Can the fad show my portfolio?
Add your portfolio page link as a source and the fad can describe your work and point people to it. If you sell fixed packages, upload a CSV with title, price, link and image, and the fad shows them as neat cards with a price and a link.
Will clients know they are talking to a chatbot?
The page is clearly a chat with your fad, with your name and avatar on it. It introduces itself with the welcome message you write. Most people are happy to get a quick, correct answer, and they can switch to WhatsApp with you whenever they want a human.
Is the free plan enough for a solo freelancer?
For most solo freelancers, yes. You get up to 3 fads with 10 sources each, which covers your services, process, portfolio link and a set of question-and-answer pairs. The chat page shows a small "Start your own fad" line, which Pro will remove when it launches.
Can I see what leads are asking?
Yes. Every chat is saved in your dashboard, so you can read what people wanted and how the fad replied. Questions it could not answer appear in the Teach tab. Write the answer there once, and the next lead with the same question gets it instantly.
