Privacy policy
This page explains what fad.fyi collects, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read.
Who we are
fad.fyi is operated from India by the team behind tinydabba. When this policy says โweโ, it means that team. You can reach us from the contact page.
What we collect
- Account: your Google name, email address and profile picture when you sign in with Google. We do not receive your Google password.
- Your fads: the names, settings, files, links, text, questions and answers, and product lists you add. Files are stored in a private area for that fad.
- Chats: messages visitors send to your fad and the replies, so you can read them in your Chats tab, plus thumbs up or down.
- Technical logs: IP address, browser type and time of requests, for security, rate limits and fixing problems.
- Contact messages: what you send us through the contact form.
Why we use it
- To run your fads and answer your visitors.
- To sign you in and keep your account safe.
- To stop abuse and keep fair limits.
- To reply when you contact us.
We do not use your content or chats to train AI models. We do not sell data. We do not show third-party ads.
Visitors to a fad
If you chat with someoneโs fad, your messages are stored so the owner can read them. The owner is responsible for how they use that information. Do not share passwords, OTPs or card numbers in a chat.
Who else sees data
Service providers that help us run fad.fyi, such as hosting and AI processing, see only what is needed to do their job and may not use it for anything else. Google provides sign-in. We may share data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
As long as your fad exists. Deleting a fad removes its content, chats and feedback permanently. Deleting your account removes everything linked to it. Technical logs are kept for a limited time and then removed.
Your choices
- Change what your fad knows, how it looks, and who can see it, any time.
- Delete a fad from Settings by typing its address.
- Ask for a copy of your data or deletion of your account on the contact page.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in and the browserโs local storage to remember a visitorโs current chat. No tracking cookies.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so on the changelog and here.
