How it works
In three steps.
- 1
Upload your teaching material
Add lesson notes as PDF or Word files, your formula sheets as Excel, and links to your recorded class pages. Each fad takes up to 10 sources on the free plan.
- 2
Write the answers you repeat
Add question-answer pairs for exam dates, syllabus coverage, batch timings and fee queries. These are answered exactly as you write them, so there is no confusion.
- 3
Share with your batch
Post the link in the class WhatsApp group. Keep it unlisted so only your students use it, or private so only their Google emails can open it.
Why it matters
What changes for you
Questions people ask
Will students use it to cheat?
The fad only knows what you upload. If you do not upload answer keys, it cannot share them. Many teachers upload notes and worksheets but keep solutions for class. You can see every chat, so you know how students are using it.
Can I keep it only for my paying students?
Yes. Set visibility to private and add the Google emails of your students. Only they can open the chat. Or keep it unlisted and share the link only in your batch group. Public is also an option if you want to attract new students.
What files can I upload?
PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, PowerPoint and plain text files, up to 25 MB each. You can also add links to your website pages and paste text directly. Scanned image-only PDFs do not work well, so use files with real text.
Can I have one fad per subject?
The free plan gives you 3 fads, so you could make one each for Physics, Chemistry and Maths, each with its own 10 sources. Or make one fad for a batch with mixed material. Both ways work well.
