Widget
A chat widget is the small floating button on a website that opens a chat window when a visitor taps it.
A widget is a small piece of a web page that does one job. A chat widget is the round button you see in the corner of many websites. Tap it and a chat window slides open, right on top of the page. The visitor can ask a question without leaving the page they were reading.
For a business, a chat widget turns a silent website into one that answers back. Someone looking at your price page can ask 'Is GST included?' on the spot. The widget should match your brand colour, work on phones, and never break your site's design.
The fad.fyi widget is one script tag you paste before the closing </body> tag. It shows a floating button in your accent colour on WordPress, Shopify, Google Sites or any HTML site. It is built with Shadow DOM, so your site's CSS cannot break it and it cannot break your site.
