Embed code

Embed code is a short snippet of HTML you paste into your website to show something built elsewhere, like a video, a map or a chat button.

Embed code is a small block of HTML that you copy from one service and paste into your own website. A YouTube video, a Google Map or a chat button all come as embed code. You do not build the thing yourself. You paste the snippet, and the service shows its content inside your page.

You do not need to understand the code to use it. The important things are to copy it completely, to paste it in the right place, and to save and publish your page after pasting. Most website builders have a box for custom code or footer code made exactly for this.

On fad.fyi, the embed code is a single script tag. Open your fad, tap Widget, copy the tag and paste it just before the closing </body> tag of your site. The floating chat button then appears on every page where the code is present. If it does not show, check the tag's position and any ad-blocker.
