QR code
A QR code is a square black-and-white pattern that opens a link when someone scans it with a phone camera.
A QR code is a square made of small black and white blocks. It holds a piece of information, most often a web link. Point a phone camera at it and the phone offers to open the link. UPI payments made QR codes familiar to almost everyone in India, from street carts to big stores.
QR codes work because they bridge the physical and the online. A code on your shop door, your menu, your bill or your visiting card takes a person straight to a web page in one second. There is no typing, no spelling mistake, and nothing to remember.
Every fad comes with a QR code for its link. Print it on a standee, a board or a card, and a scan opens your chat page. Print it at least 2 cm wide so phones can read it. If you change your address later, the old link keeps redirecting for 30 days.
