Unlisted link
An unlisted link is a page anyone can open if they have the link, but which is not listed or shown anywhere for others to find.
Unlisted sits between private and public. The page is open: no sign-in, no permission needed. But it is not listed anywhere. There is no directory entry, no search result on the service, no public listing. The only way to reach it is to have the link. YouTube made this option famous for videos.
Unlisted is useful when you want easy sharing without a public announcement. You can send the link on WhatsApp, print it as a QR code, or put it in a bio. Anyone who gets it can use it. People who do not have it will not stumble across it by chance.
On fad.fyi, set your fad's visibility to unlisted and it behaves this way. Anyone with fad.fyi/yourname can chat, but the fad is not listed anywhere on fad.fyi. It is a good choice for a fad you share with customers directly but do not want in a public listing.
