Slug
A slug is the short, readable part at the end of a web address, such as 'sharma-tuition' in fad.fyi/sharma-tuition.
A slug is the human-friendly piece at the end of a web address. In fad.fyi/sharma-tuition, the slug is sharma-tuition. Slugs use lowercase letters, numbers and dashes, with no spaces, so they are easy to type, easy to say out loud and easy to print on a board or a visiting card.
A good slug is short, clear and matches how people know you. Your shop name, your coaching brand or your own name all work. Avoid long strings of numbers. If your first choice is taken, add your city or your trade: 'gupta-sweets-indore' is still short and tells the visitor exactly where they are.
On fad.fyi, your slug is your address. It must be 3 to 30 characters of lowercase letters, numbers and dashes, with no dash at the start or end. Brand names, official bodies, risky words and bad words are reserved. You can change it later, and the old address redirects for 30 days.
