Daily cap
A daily cap is the maximum number of messages a chatbot will answer in one day before the count resets.
A daily cap is a limit for one day. It keeps a free service fair and fast for everyone, and it stops one bot from using up all the resources. The count starts fresh each day. For most small businesses, a reasonable cap is never reached, but it is good to know it exists.
Caps are usually counted per bot, not per account, so each bot has its own room. When planning, think about your busiest day, like a sale day or an admissions week, rather than an average day. If you regularly get close, that is a sign your bot is doing real work.
On fad.fyi, the Free plan has a cap of 500 messages per fad per day, and each of your fads has its own 500. It counts the messages visitors send to that fad in a day. If the cap is reached, visitors see a short note asking them to come back tomorrow. Your dashboard shows today's count.
