Teach your fad new answers from real questions

Your fad learns only from what you give it. When a visitor asks something it cannot answer, or taps thumbs down on a reply, that question waits for you in the Teach tab. You write the answer once and it becomes a Q&A pair. Here is how to use it.

  1. 1

    Open the Teach tab

Go to fad.fyi/app, open your fad and tap Teach. You will see two kinds of items: questions the fad could not answer, and replies that got a thumbs down from a visitor.

  2. 2

    Read what people really asked

Look at the exact words people used. Maybe they ask "fees" when your PDF says "charges", or they ask in Hinglish. These are the gaps in your sources. Pick the questions that come up more than once first.

  3. 3

    Write the answer once

Type a clear answer under the question, the way you would say it at the counter. Save it. It becomes a Q&A pair, and your fad answers that question exactly as you wrote it from then on.

  4. 4

    Dismiss what does not matter

Some questions are spam, jokes or not about your business. Dismiss them. They leave the list so you can focus on real customer questions. Dismissing does not change how your fad answers.

  5. 5

    Fix thumbs-down replies

A thumbs down means the fad answered, but the visitor did not like it. Read the reply. If it was wrong or unclear, write the correct answer. If your source has old information, update that file in Feed it too.

  6. 6

    Make it a weekly habit

Open Teach once a week, or after a busy day. Ten minutes of teaching saves many WhatsApp messages later. Over time your fad answers more and hands over less.

Tips
  • Answer in the same language the visitor used.
  • Keep taught answers short. One or two lines is enough.
  • If many people ask the same thing, add it as a suggested question too.

Questions people ask

Where do the taught answers go?

Each one becomes a Q&A pair. You can find your Q&A pairs in the Q&A tab of Feed it. The fad answers these exactly as written, so they are the most reliable answers it has. Use them for prices, timings and policies.

Do I have to answer every question?

No. Dismiss the ones that do not matter. Focus on questions real customers ask more than once. Some gaps are better fixed by adding a page link or a PDF, which answers many related questions at once instead of one.

Can I teach before anyone asks?

Yes. Go to Feed it, open the Q&A tab and add question and answer pairs yourself. The Teach tab is for questions that already came in. Both end up as Q&A pairs and work the same way.
